My client is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate to the above post, you will be responsible for the management and effective operation, support and administration of all computer and network systems throughout the college.
They have over 1200 16-19 students and 1300 part time adult students, with more than 50% of full time students studying vocational courses. All their students are developed through an excellent teaching provision and student support. You will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Ability to fault find on Personal Computers
- Ability to manage the servers
- Experience of IT network design and installation
- Windows XP Professional, and Windows 2000*2003 server
- Experience of managing IT networks within an educational, commercial, industrial etc secotrs.
- Knowledge of network security for example MS ISA server
- To develop and implement a technical strategy and direction for the College network
